About JAY

Having grown up in the Middle-Georgia town of Eastman, I returned to the city of my birth to attend Georgia Tech.

I married Jennifer Fordham of Peachtree City in 2004. We purchased a bank owned foreclosure, renovated it and moved before formally getting my real estate license, My wife and I still live there today. It was also an educational experience that benefits my clients today.

I began my real estate career as the economy and the real estate market especially were just about to make a shift. I learned immediately how to navigate Short Sales and Foreclosures from both the Seller's and Buyer's side. It is an education that will always be valuable to me and my clients.

As Past President of the Rotary Club of Smyrna, I am committed to the Smryna, Vinings and Cobb County Community. Even my church is involved in community outreach by spending one Sunday every quarter working to better schools an communities "outside the walls" of the church. It is a value that we instill in our children.

I have been both an assistant coach and head coach in the Smyrna Little League in which my son competes. This is a great organization and greatly enhances the Smyrna Community.

I have watched the Smyrna Community grow to become one of the gems in the Atlanta area. Smyrna has always been logistically the best city in the Atlanta suburbs with commutes on most days of less than 30 minutes to downtown and Atlanta International Airport.
