Jay Turney

Jay has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and worked for over 30 years as an Engineer/Engineering manager, dividing that time between The Boeing Company and Microsoft.  He bought his first home in Seattle's Central District in 1987 (which he still owns today).  He and his wife spent almost 2 years researching areas and looking at homes before they bought the one they live in now, so he's comfortable with taking your time and finding a home that's right for you.
Jay knows that everyone has different needs and wants, and will work with you to help you find a new home that you love or sell the home that has become part of your family and is full of memories.  Buying or selling a home is a big decision emotionally and financially.  Home buying should not be taken lightly or jumped into too quickly.  Jay will work with you to make sure he understands what you needs and goals are, and that you understand the process and know what to expect.
When jay isn't working with clients on real estate or doing more research on the local market he loves spending time with his family, volunteering at the local high school or middle school, designing web sites, playing golf, traveling, trying new restaurants, (and new wines,) hosting BBQs or social gatherings with friends, volunteering for Bloodworks Northwest, (or donating whole blood or platelets,) or working on various "projects".
