If I could add five more stars to the Review I would. So you are thinking about Jean Espo. If you are like me you are skeptical and gun shy of sales people. Yes. So am I . But Jean. You just can't get better than her. Perhaps like you; you don't want to get locked into a sales person. You feel they are just thinking of their commission and $$$. Not Jean.
I went into an open house and I thought she was one of the people there looking to purchase. She was dressed in Army Pants, boots, and a white blouse. She started chatting to my sister and I and I thought this lady was cool. Someone you would like to have as a friend. Right off the bat; I felt this way towards her. When she said she was the Realtor; I couldn't believe it since she was so down to earth and I just clicked. She wasn't one of those cookie cutter, plastic, stereotype Realtor that I thought only existed out there. She was like me in the fact she was very real.

How could I not like someone that was a Realtor and I had felt an immediate like for this lady. I thought this realtor is good in getting on my good side right away and I thought; when is the shoe going to drop. IT NEVER DID !
She was always there. I was a buyer. My brother-in-law said that realtor only will help the seller. I was a buyer. I had a budget from $600 to $1m. Every step of the way; she would tell me the flaws of the home and the good things that most people wouldn't see in a home. She didn't show me the top end homes only. She was at budget or below; which made me feel great. She was interested in my budget and what I wanted. Not what she wanted. Wow !
Jean was always there. Always answer her phone. Always wrote back and text me. I felt I was like a brother to her. She has since felt like a sister to me. A few house slip through my fingers to no fault of anyone. It is called Real Estate Shopping. But if. I wanted a house that was sold; Jean would let the other realtor know I was interested.
Once I found my house; she was right there every step of the way. Walking me through the process in a smooth transition from start to finish. She was there after the sale as well. If I were to buy or sell; I would call Jean. Hones. Dependable. Caring. Hard worker. The paragon of Realtors. I worked hard for my money to buy a home. Jean is sensitive to your needs. She is a great person. You're top Realtor . Thanks Jean. I am proud to write a review . Five star Plus ! Ken Neely

Don't let her positive demeanor fool you - Jean is cut intensely smart and strategic! Jean (or Jeanie as I've come to her) is both positive and professional. Some think that to be 'professional' in this field that you need someone who is solely cut throat. Jeanie is incredibly smart - she knows strategic approaches, has top notch negotiating skills, and at the same time, she is positive through and through, making what could have been a stressful experience a really, very easy and enjoyable one. I love my new home and it's all thanks to Jean! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

My husband & I have been involved in over 30 Real Estate transactions during the last 34 years including residential, commercial, and income properties. Jean just represented us in the purchase of our dream property and we could not be happier with the services she provided us in this transaction.
Jean made sure that she showed us everything on the market that met our criteria. She was readily available to answer any questions or concerns we had and was always courteous, kind & professional in her communications with us. I cannot imagine a more professional & gracious agent!
We have dealt with many good agents over the years but Jean is no doubt in a league of her own and often went beyond any expectation I had. Both my husband & I highly recommend her. We will no doubt be using her for any future real estate needs we may have in the area.

If I could give Jean Esop six stars I would because she is that good! Jean was there for me. She answered any, and all the questions I had regarding the sale of my house. Jean always answered my calls, or when busy returned my calls in a timely matter. I found her very knowledgeable when it comes to all aspects of real estate, especially when dealing with buyers' loans etc. Jean is professional, yet, at the same time, very caring when it comes to her clients. I've seen her work hard to do her best for me and my situation, and I've worked with a few agents in the past which I can compare with. And Jean isn't only at the top when it comes to real estate. No, she is truly an amazingly caring person, and I feel blessed to have found her. The analogy I think of when it comes to Jean. She is that rose in the garden which stands out among all the rest of the flowers! RM

I would give Jean 10 stars if I could. She helped me purchase my first home in Oceanside, CA while I was still stationed overseas in Japan! Jean tirelessly worked around the clock to make sure all my questions were answered, went to listings and showed them to me via FaceTime, and connected me to a local team of lenders, contractors, inspectors, etc. that allowed me to close escrow in just 17 days! However, the best part about working with Jean was her enthusiasm and honesty. She genuinely loves what she does and will guide you through the home buying process, as if she was the buyer. I have the utmost trust in her ability and keen eyes to select good properties, and she will never compromise quality to make a quick sale. Her customer service is second to none, goes above and beyond all expectations, and is now like family to me. I love the home I just purchased, and if you're looking to purchase a home, look no further and call Jean!

Working with Jeannie was a great experience. She pointed us in the right direction, made sure we didn't get screwed and worked extremely hard to negotiate all points of property value, repairs as well as finding all listing mistakes. I truly believe you can't find any better real estate agent who will be willing to work so hard for you and take it to such high standards. Unfortunately, she is one of kind above most of the agents with whom I have ever worked.

Jean was an invaluable resource for my husband and I as we began researching available properties in our area. She really wanted to understand what our goals were in the immediate and helped us think down the road to what we may not be considering. We never thought we'd be looking at a property in need of large scale renovation, but after understanding the resources available to us to pursue a mortgage with renovation funding, we went for it. A year and a half later we're so glad we did. We're now living in our fully renovated building with a new baby and fully rented units and rental income. If you had told me three years ago this would be possible, I would have thought you were nuts. How could that be within our reach? Well, without Jean - we'd have never gone this route. We also ran into a couple contractor issues during the process and Jean went out of her way to connect us to industry experts who had experience dealing with our situation to offer advice and alternatives. The same day. Talk about above and beyond. This type of sincere care and support is a rare find - and only something you get from someone with the kind of experience, longstanding relationships and respect with other colleagues in the industry that she has. It's obvious that Jean is truly pulling for you from day one - whether it's your humble first home or a multi-million dollar listing. She wants the absolute best for her clients and is a relentless advocate for you. The long and short: I'd still be searching RedFin for the wrong properties without Jean's support and guidance. She knows the industry. She will do whatever is within her power - and more - to get you the information you need to make the best decisions for you and your family.

We won the lottery when Jean researched real estate markets for us. She listened carefully to our needs/wish list and was relentless in finding the perfect location and home. I was totally impressed with her knowledge, cheerful attitude, attention to our needs and honesty in answering our unending questions. Jean is knowledgeable in financing needs as well due to her background in mortgage loans. Her level of professionalism and love of real estate is impressive and the end result is pure perfection for the buyer/seller.
