I was born and raised in Lincoln, NE. Being from the Midwest I grew up knowing the value of hard work and treating all people with kindness and respect. After this Cornhusker fan went to LSU, I settled in Des Moines, IA, where I volunteered on many community boards, including schools, the symphony, the opera, and my church. Once the children were older, I started my first business designing and manufacturing apparel. This business grossed over $10M in 3 years and won the Entrepreneur of the Year award for the state of Iowa. I later moved to NYC where I lived for 12 years to continue my career in fashion design and sourcing, working for many companies including, Ashworth, Disney, Nicklaus and the PGA. This time spent in the international business arena has enabled me to be quite comfortable with people from many different backgrounds.
Moving to Florida after 9/11, I found a new passion in Real Estate. I love the challenge of meeting all types of people in all price ranges and developing and executing a plan to help them achieve their goals and needs. I have won many awards including the RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement award, but that is not important. What IS important is seeing the smiles of satisfaction on the faces of my clients as they tell me I did a great job!
