Jeff Klotz is a highly successful and nationally recognized real estate entrepreneur that is well respected among his peers within the multifamily industry. Mr. Klotz started in the investment real estate business while in high school purchasing single family homes for long term hold and gain. The need for support to the growing portfolio was recognized and Mr. Klotz ventured into the contracted construction related services business. Driving the growth of the company over a seven year period, he employed over 100 employees, and became the 3rd largest such company in Jacksonville Florida servicing the multifamily industry. His company managed repair and renovation contracts to the apartment industry and was recognized as one of the “fastest growing businesses of 2000”. During this period, Mr. Klotz also developed a thriving property management business with similar successful results.
Upon the sale of these impressive going concerns, Mr. Klotz focused on his growing real estate portfolio that included many residential, retail, office/warehouse development land, and multifamily properties. He formed American Management Group / HK Management Group, LLC, a regional property management company that served five Southeast States and managed over 20,000 multifamily apartment units; Served lenders (as receiver), owners (large & small) & institutional investors on affordable, tax credit and market rate properties.
Realizing a strong demand within the industry, and recognizing how difficult it is to build and operate a solid, profitable portfolio without controlling your own resources, Mr. Klotz became a founding principal in numerous commercial real estate companies. These companies service all aspects of the multifamily real estate industry, including Brokerage, Finance/Lending, Property Management, Investments, Consulting and Construction.
Mr. Klotz has progressed dramatically throughout his career as he formed several commercial asset and investment companies where he is a formally Industry Award Winning Business leader. His companies have capitalized on prevalent trends, technologies and continuous business model refinements. These skill sets and insight are embodied in his companies’ entire range of services that include real estate marketing and sales, construction, commercial sales, commercial leasing, real estate management, and investment functions in the commercial realm. Under Mr. Klotz’s leadership, his organizations have accumulated significant holdings of income producing properties; manages more than 20,000 tenant units, and provides staff management and leasing agents; and manages a growing and successful commercial investment portfolio. Additionally, Mr. Klotz serves as Director and Chairman of Savior Communities, Inc., an IRS designated 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. Its mission is to sponsor, acquire, own, manage, and operate affordable rental housing for families, seniors, and the disabled. Savior Communities is focused on the faith based preservation of affordable housing by acquiring and rehabbing assets that are typically at the end of their useful life by using low income tax credits, tax exempt bonds, soft monies, and government loan programs. He is married and lives in Jacksonville Beach, Florida.
