Jeff Magoteaux brings 14 years of real estate experience to Royal Shell Real Estate. His career has been focused on both residential and rural country properties. "I remember sitting on a neighbors horse when I was 8 years old, and the feeling I had at that time has never left me. " Jeff is a former All American Quarter Horse Congress winner and then went on to judge part of the events for 10 years. "I even competed a few years ago in the Cheyenne Frontier Days rodeo and enjoyed the scenery, the competition and renewal of old friendships!" He was featured in Western Horseman magazine with how to articles and was a roping and barrel racing clinician. "Our team traveled to Nova Scotia, New York, Colorado, Texas, Oklahoma. "It was always fun to see the horse and rider making progress over a long weekend of riding, repetition and fellowship." Magoteaux has been involved in other aspects of the horse industry. He was the Executive Director for the National Reining Breeders Classic and was the president of an association management company in Oklahoma that ran day to day operations and managed the shows for the National Reined Cow Horse Association and was the publisher of the NRCHA publication, Stock Horse News. Magoteaux resides in Ocala. He enjoys riding his horse on the local trails, playing golf, and is a licensed pilot. Jeff has 14 years’ experience as a Realtor to the Royal Shell Real Estate team. He has the experience working with both buyers and sellers and enjoys the processes to make the transaction appear seemingly easy for his clients as he handles the many details involved to get to the closing table. As a former executive director and association manager for reiners and reined cow horses, Jeff loves living in Ocala as the horse industry is a way of life. Knowing the passion horse people possess makes Jeff a natural fit with the Royal Shell family and Golden Ocala. Jeff grew up in Ohio and following graduation he spent 20 years in Oklahoma where he owned a 235-acre ranch and a printing company. The western lifestyle remains with his persona. He has won the All-American Quarter Horse Congress and has qualified horses at the AQHA world show. He still enjoys riding his horse on the local trails. Jeff enjoys playing golf especially at the beautiful Golden Ocala course with its eight replica holes. He loves to fly and obtained his private pilot’s license several years ago.
