I would certainly recommend Jeff and Ramon, the managing partners of TERRA Properties, for all your real estate needs (they rented out my wife’s Glover Park condo in addition to selling my house). I met “the great” Ramon Pardo, kind of by accident, and it turned out to be the catalyst to finding the home of my dreams! I wanted a place on the water but the costs for such a property were out of my range and I’d pretty much given up. Ramon mentioned that he knew of an off-market condo in the Heron House on Lake Anne and asked if I wanted to see it.
We met the realtor there and darned if it wasn’t EVERYTHING I wanted and a price that wouldn’t get gnarled into a bidding war. He began the process and, as result of his expertise, I live here now.
Ramon is a talented and knowledgeable realtor and well respected in our community. Every time I’d get myself twisted up (with numbers!) he would calmly talk me through it making sure I understood and was still comfortable moving forward. He sold my condo for $30k over asking price and we were well on our way.
I will always recommend Ramon to anyone who is looking for an amazing realtor in the DMV!

Simply put--Ramon Pardo is the best Real Estate Agent! You will not find a more honest, hardworking, dedicated, committed, compassionate, knowledgeable, experienced agent in Northern Virginia. There aren’t enough adjectives and superlatives to capture all the wonderful traits, talents and expertise that Ramon has to offer. But most important of all, perhaps, it that he will deliver for you.
After much research and many interviews, we chose Ramon Pardo to sell our Lakeview condo in Reston, Virginia. We were first drawn to Ramon by his high number of sales in our complex, but we also especially liked that Ramon lives in a nearby Condo on Lake Anne and promised to be the boots on the ground for us since we live out of town, and boy, did he deliver on that.
Our condo needed a complete renovation and Ramon was thrilled at the opportunity to use his skills as an architect to oversee the project for us since we were not local. He got multiple bids from contractors he had used in the past and gave us options. He took the lead and offered suggestions, but listened and incorporated many of our ideas. He valued our input and allowed us to have as much or as little input as we wanted. His attention to detail, knowledge of trends and what buyers want and expect and his commitment were nothing short of phenomenal. And through it all, it was like working with a friend. Our experience was a collaborative team effort and the end result was an amazingly beautiful renovation.
When it came to marketing, he was, again, spot on. He explained his strategies, especially regarding listing price, and once again, he delivered beyond our highest expectations. Within 48 hours of going on the market, Ramon had negotiated on the many fantastic offers we received, and we were thrilled with the contract.
Do your research. Talk to Ramon. He’s the man, the best, the real deal. He will take care of you like family and be there every step of the way to get you the most for your property.

Although we had believed that we had gotten our home in good shape for sale (and in fact, most of the major high-priced items - roof, siding, windows, Kitchen, etc. were fairly new), Jeff took care to personally inspect our home from a buyer's perspective and suggested a number of fixes and upgrades which certainly improved the overall appearance and appeal of the home. Melissa safely saw me through the turbulent waters of buying a house in the first half of 2021. You won't find a more detail oriented realtor. The state I bought my house in, has twice as much paperwork for each offer as neighboring states. She very helpfully and cheerfully supplied the correct forms for me to sign each time.
I really appreciated the fact that she was not afraid to go back to the other party with my negotiation requests. This is especially important in the current volatile market.

My husband and I were looking to purchase a townhouse in a particular lakeside Reston neighborhood for over a year. Each time we saw a for sale sign in the neighborhood, I called immediately only to find out it had already sold. None of the listing agents I spoke to were interested in assisting me and some didn’t even return my phone calls. My experience changed when I contacted Ramon about a property. Even though it had just sold, he was interested in what I was looking for, offered to help and even offered to go door to door in the neighborhood to see if there were any residents interested in selling. I was pleasantly surprised at his offer but skeptical because of my previous experiences with local real estate agents. Almost immediately, he found a person interested in selling in the upcoming month. For over a month Ramon kept in touch with the potential seller and myself and even arranged for us to preview the house before it went on the market. He guided us through the offer and purchase processes, and we were able to purchase a townhouse in our preferred neighborhood. We also asked Ramon to sell the townhouse that we owned. He previewed our house, gave us advice on staging and pricing and recommended contractors for needed repairs. Through his knowledge and expertise, we sold our home in 3 days for a higher price than we had anticipated. We feel very fortunate to have come across Ramon in our house hunt. It’s rare to find someone who takes initiative, and then follows through as responsibly and reliably as Ramon. I think he is the best real estate agent in the area. He’s serious, and professional and will work hard on your behalf.

I first met Ramon when he canvassed my neighborhood on behalf a client. He wrote to hundreds of neighbors. That showed me right away how hard he would work on behalf of a client. And he found that buyer a great home and that buyer could not say enough great things about Ramon. I know all the local realtors but when it came time to hire someone who would work hard for me, I chose Ramon. I admit that I can be a difficult seller, because I am an experienced lawyer and negotiator. Ramon took me on and handled me perfectly. Its important to have a realtor who can match your needs and desires. I was impressed that Ramon was flexible with me. He was polite when I asked for advice on how to best stage the house. But I told him he needed to be tough and he gave me even more severe staging items to implement. I trusted him, made the changes and they paid off. I did not listen to Ramon when it came to the listing price point. I thought I knew better, but I should have deferred to his expertise. In seven days, I changed my price point and the buyers started showing up like crazy. The reviews from buyers proved Ramon right on both the decorating-staging and the price point. The buyers were all hovering but careful because we had priced the home perfectly at the top of the value range. When we adjusted the price by a small amount, we had five offers in one day and negotiated a full-price offer with no contingencies. Now some would say we had priced too high because we had to adjust the price. But I refused to underprice the home. Ramon agreed to involve me in the negotiations. Together we made a great team constantly peppering each other with the best way forward on each detail of the sale. To truly understand this, you should know that in the thirty days before my home sold, two neighbors sold their homes. The other homes were in the same price range-size as my home but they sold for $65,000 and $60,000 LESS. I expected to get maybe $25,000 more based on my home's characteristics but Ramon helped me and led me to a huge win on my sale. I would highly recommend Ramon for everyone. For the first time buyer or seller, Ramon is the consummate expert. To the more experienced buyer or seller, he is the perfect foil and balance to our own whims, desires, and expertise. I respect Ramon as a true expert and would highly recommend him. Words cannot express the care with which Ramon handled every detail. Thank you, Ramon.

Couldn't speak more highly of Melissa! She sent us over a dozen houses to look through prior to viewing any of the potential rental listings in the Fairfax area and they were all right up our alley, making choosing only a few to see difficult. Ramon was very easy to work with - he knows the market, and works hard to make sure that the listing is posted everywhere to maximize the number of responses.

He sold 2 homes for us in a very short time - within a couple of weeks of listing them.
