My focus is on your goals and dreams whether buying or selling. My approach is to work exclusively for you, not a team with a new face or voice seemingly every day, but singular focus on your real estate transaction. As such I only work with a small number of clients at any time.
Geographic my focus is throughout Skagit County, north Whidbey Island, Camano Island, Chuckanut and the I-5 corridor from Arlington to Whatcom County.
Personally, I have been involved in real estate over many decades from several perspectives: owning and managing rentals, designing commercial and institutional projects, achieving 1031 tax deferred exchanges and helping to seek permits for a wide variety of projects with zoning, environmental, building and other authorities.
This background can be very helpful in steering through the many issues that can affect a real estate transaction.
My education includes degrees in Horticulture and Regional Planning, and I have worked throughout the Northwest (Oregon, Washington) and Alaska. I retired as a Captain, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. I currently serve as a member of the Burlington Parks and Recreation Commission, and previously was a board member of a non-profit focused on helping young people learn life skills through outdoor experiences in Alaska.
