About Jeffery
Jeff Morrison - Jeff got his start in real estate way back in 1988 with the purchase of his first commercial property. Over the next 34 years, he and his wife, Bethnie, built a series of successful businesses on that property while he also established himself as a top commercial lender in Whatcom County. His focus on clients helped him routinely rank in the top 5% of lenders for production and service.
As a commercial lender, Jeff was involved in many facets of real estate, including construction lending, purchase financing, and development loans.
The experience in his personal businesses and commercial banking helped Jeff hone the skills necessary to advocate for the best interests of people purchasing or selling properties. So, in 2016, Jeff and Bethnie both became licensed real estate brokers, promptly joining Coldwell Banker Bain - Bellingham
Ever since then, real estate has been an exciting part of their lives. Their focus – as it was since day one - has been on first serving the needs of clients. They often start a client relationship by asking, "What do you want?" and then putting their experience and passion to work achieving the clients’ goals and desires.
In Jeff’s words, “We take a team approach to help our clients navigate the often-complex world of real estate, be it the ‘deer in the headlights stare’ of making their very first purchase of a primary residence or the complex buying and permitting of land to build their dream home or understanding the necessary components for analyzing investment properties.
“My wife and I also feel it's very important to be involved in our community. We serve on local boards: She is a board member of Skookum Kids, and I am a former board member of United Way and current executive officer of the local building-industry trade organization. We also volunteer for community projects.”
Jeff and Bethnie believe it is important to never stop learning and are committed to developing new skills through training and certifications. In 2020, they both became managing brokers, enabling them to better serve their clients.
“Being lucky to live in the Pacific Northwest,” Jeff says, “we are able to take advantage of the many outdoor activities the area has to offer. We are avid golfers, enjoy walking our Border Collie and Aussie Shepherd, hiking the numerous trails, SCUBA diving the local waters, and taking care of our 5-acre home-site. “It would be our pleasure to serve you.”
