About Jeffrey

One of the most satisfying things to Jeff and I is working with young couples starting out with the dream of owning a home. Some buyers are considered ‘investment’ buyers which in the real estate world is viewed differently than people who buy a house to move into. For us, EVERY home buyer is an investment buyer!!! It is the biggest purchase most will ever make in their lives and therefore offers us the best opportunity to differentiate ourselves from other Realtors based on our 40 +cumulative career years in the financial industry and corporate finance. For that reason, we have created some complex Excel models showing buyers not only how to buy a house, but how to build wealth at the same time so they have the tools to make informed decisions. These younger clients are shown the benefits of spending a bit less up front on a house and opting for a 15 or 20-year loan and we show them in dollars what that means for their lives 5, 10 or even 25 years from now. We can then show houses at different price points to see first-hand the difference a 15, 20 or 30 year mortgage makes on purchasing power. We not even afraid to show buyers the benefit of waiting and saving a bit longer for a home if the numbers tell that story. Basically, our responsibility is to ensure our clients see the investment side of the house purchase, and then….no matter which price point they chose, help them buy into a great value so they don’t just see the pretty grey walls. How many of us wish someone has told us about this 20 years ago instead of selling the biggest house some lender told us we could afford? How many commission-based professionals can say they care about the influence their help can have 25 years from now? We couldn’t be more excited about living this dream that was years in the making!!
