Jeffrey Garfinkel

Jeffrey Garfinkel is the director of acquisitions and development for Sterling Properties. Sterling Properties is widely recognized as a premier developer of premier rental residences, upscale single-family homes, townhomes, retail and commercial throughout New Jersey and the metropolitan area. Mr. Garfinkel’s main objective is to identify and acquire land that is suitable for development into high-end rental or town home communities and to oversee the development of those communities. Today, Sterling Properties has more than 20 luxury rental communities in Central and Northern New Jersey. Although Sterling’s focus is on rental housing, the company is also active in the development of single-family housing in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Mr. Garfinkel began his career as a property manager in New York City before getting into housing development. He serves on the Board of Directors of the New Jersey Apartment Association (NJAA), which represents all facets of the multifamily apartment industry in New Jersey. Mr. Garfinkel graduated from the University of Maryland in 1990.
