As a 4th generation Colorado native, I have always had a passion for this great state. Growing up on a farm and ranch near Wray, CO in far eastern Colorado, I learned the values of treating others with respect, being honest, and ensuring my loyalty to others. These core values have stood by me throughout my career, and have always remained the cornerstone of my success.After graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder, I began my career as a personal banker. I learned a lot, but to meet my goals I had to sell products that I didn't believe in, nor did I feel was the best fit for the customer. It just didn't fit my values, and because of that, I was never going to be successful in that role. Since then, I have spent the last 10 years working for a fixed income services company that helped me realize what my true passion really was, helping others achieve their life goals. I have spent 10 years working regulatory compliance
