Jen is a full-service real estate professional serving all of San Diego County. With over 25 years of experience, Jen provides her clients with an unparalleled level of knowledge, service, and expertise. Managing numerous aspects of real estate from residential sales and property management to marketing and advertising, Jen is well-known for her deep market knowledge and client-centric approach. She has led hundreds of successful transactions for equity investors, corporate clients, sellers, buyers, plus countless first-time buyers, building a career on repeat and referral business. Jen is an excellent communicator who listens to the individual’s needs, and ensures the client is comfortable throughout the buying and selling process.
Growing up in a family of real estate entrepreneurs, Jen began her real estate career in 1989 at her family’s firm, EMS Realty, Inc., one of the largest real estate firms in Southern Arizona. Jen helped scale the firm and quickly rose to Senior Equity Manager. In 2005, Jen and her husband relocated to San Diego where she joined Chris Love Coastal Properties and discovered her love of the coastal real estate market. In 2009, she launched her own venture, Equity Management Group, which she later sold in 2014 before taking a sabbatical to live in Switzerland with her family and travel abroad. In 2016, Jen and her family returned to Encinitas where she picked right up where she left off… selling the California dream with her newest business venture, Jen Desposato, Broker, a boutique real estate firm specializing in representing buyers, sellers, and investors, as well as many first-time buyers.
A high school and college volleyball player, Jen played an active role in the community where she coached and mentored local volleyball teams. Jen also coached her son’s USA Team at the 2017 World Dwarf Games to a Gold medal! Jen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from the University of Arizona. She lives in Encinitas with her husband Scott, a professor at the University of California at San Diego, and their four children. Jen enjoys traveling and the outdoors with her family, cooking and volleyball.
