Jennifer has been my realtor for two transactions; buying my home and selling it, and she was nothing short of outstanding! I told her what types of properties I was interested in purchasing and she was able to find me a fantastic place at an amazing price. She took her time and really focused on what I asked. Jennifer didn't bother me with properties that were outside of my price range or not what I was looking for, just so she could make a sale. She was legitimately making sure that I was happy. When purchasing my home, the sellers were going through a divorce and extremely difficult to work with. She was patient and made sure things were moving along every step of the way. She maintained constant communication with me and I always felt like she was doing all she could to move the sale along expediently. I got a last minute transfer to a new duty station overseas and decided it would be best to sell. I was stressed and worried I wouldn't be able to sell and would have to pay a ton of money out of pocket. Jennifer got her contacts together, helped me prep my home in a matter of two weeks (after I moved), and sold the home within one month for a wonderful price point. My wife and I were moving to San Diego county from the Bay Area, which made it difficult to home shop. We were referred to Jen Barbosa, a local agent, and detailed to her the type of home and property in which we were interested. She asked many questions and soon felt she had a good idea of the type of property/home we were looking for. A week later, Jen called us and told us she had previewed numerous homes which met our criteria and would make herself available to show them to us at our convenience. We were surprised at how hard and how quickly Jen had worked to find a home that met our criteria, but were not overly optimistic as this would be our first group of homes to look at. We flew down the following week and met with Jen. She was extremely friendly and professional and drove us to the homes she had selected for our review. They were exactly the type of properties we were looking for and, in fact, one was perfect! She had found our perfect home in one week and with only one trip down on our part. We were ecstatic. The home buying process was a pleasure, with Jen taking care of everything at this end and keeping us apprised of everything as the process unfolded. And she got us a great deal, well under the asking price, and even under the price we were willing to pay for the property. Jennifer is extremely knowledgeable with real estate in the San Diego county area and she could very quickly identify properties that were exactly what we were interested in looking at. We live out of state and she was willing to review properties ahead of time and then used FaceTime on her phone to show us a personal tour of her/our favorites. We were able to make an offer on a property while living out of state based on this. Properties were selling very quickly and this allowed us to make a very informed decision and feel 100% comfortable with it. We later visited and were extremely happy with our decision. She also already had her team of mortgage professionals and escrow professionals lined up to facilitate a rather quick closing. Problem was, there had been no comparable properties for about a year, and there were very few homes currently for sale in our neighborhood. Jennifer took this challenge on did a very extensive market analysis which she presented to us. She listened very well to both my husband and I, recognized our trepidations and gave us time to work through them.
