Jennifer Dechtman

Jennifer Dechtman is a top-producing Realtor with The Kentwood Company. As a 4th generation Denverite, Jennifer loves to introduce newcomers to the city. She and her mother Bobbi Lou Miller, were recognized by the Denver Metro Board of Realtor (DMAR) as one of Denver’s top 10 producing real estate teams for 2008 & 2004. The mother daughter team, Bobbi Lou & Jennifer, have won numerous other real estate awards from DMAR and The Kentwood Company over the years. In 2015 they were recognized as one of the elite teams in the City with sales over 15 million.

A die-hard Wolverines fan, Jennifer graduated with honors from the University of Michigan and graduated Cum Laude from American University Law School. A former attorney, she was elected Second Vice President of the Denver Bar Association and served on the Bar Association’s Board of Directors. While practicing law, Jennifer was an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Colorado. She tried cases in state and federal court and before the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals. In 2004 Jennifer embarked on a second career in real estate to allow more time with her growing family and community involvement.

Jennifer is passionate about community service. She has served on many boards and committees for non-profit organizations in Denver. In 2010 she was honored with the Charlotte Tucker Young Leadership Award by JCO. The award recognizes Jennifer’s commitment to volunteer work for the community and for her philanthropy. She is currently the public official chair for the Jewish Community Relations Council and the President Elect of NCJW Colorado Section.

Jennifer also loves to see shows and connect others to the amazing performing arts in Denver. She is a member of the Denver Ballet Guild, the Denver Center Alliance and the auction committee for Saturday Night Alive, the Denver Center for Performing Art’s black tie gala. She also helps fundraise for the Denver School of the Arts, Theatre Department and several other arts organizations in Denver.

As a mother of three, Jennifer has her pulse on great things happening in Denver for kids: schools, museums, parks and summer camps. She enjoys skiing, playing tennis, entertaining friends and exploring all parts of Colorado. Most recently, Jennifer founded an innovative new blog about Denver, DenverILove.com. Her blog features the inside scoop on the people and places that make Denver the “IT” place to be.
