About Jennifer

Jennifer made her first foray into Denver real estate when she and her husband purchased a row house in the Historic Highlands area of Denver in 1997. At that time, the property was just a shell, without even the benefit of plumbing or electricity. With patience, grit, and a love of design, they transformed it into their first home. That first real estate project sparked a passion for residential real estate, and Jennifer became a licensed REALTOR in 2008. Jennifer strives to use humor and compassion in all of her interactions with buyers, sellers, and real estate colleagues. It is because of this that she has become known for consistent communication, great customer service, and creative problem solving. Originally from Crystal Lake, IL, Jennifer came to Colorado as a student at the University of Colorado, Boulder, and settled in the Denver area after receiving her undergraduate and graduate degrees at CU. Jennifer now lives in Westminster with her husband, John, and has a daughter who is in her second year at CU Boulder, carrying on the spirit of Forever Buffs! Outside of real estate, Jennifer enjoys running, yoga, skiing, reading and exploring new foods and wine with her family.

My fiancé and I just purchased our first home with Jennifer, and we cannot recommend her more. She was extensively knowledgable, responsive and present every step of the way, and made our entire experience completely stress-free. If you are looking for someone who will give you the best guidance every step of the way, look no further!

If I could give bonus stars I would. Jennifer and her team are the most professional, knowledgeable, highly responsive, caring, assertive, and engaging people with whom to work. 's start from the beginning. We sold our home from out of state and our realtors there referred us to Jennifer to help us find a rental. We wanted to rent for a year before we bought so we could get a feel for where we wanted to live. Jennifer helped us find a rental (which it was 2021 and the rental market was just as brutal as the buying market) pro Bono. She just asked us to "keep her in mind" when it was time for us to buy. She hustled hard for us over a rental. Wow! Just wow! Of course that made an impression upon us, so when it was time to we didn't even hesitate to call her. She won us before we even came to this state. The home buying process in 2022 was just as brutal as 2021. Jennifer was calming and steadfast through this frustrating home buying process (if you know the market in 2022 you know it was the "housing hunger games" for buyers). She was an absolute advocate for us, but did give us advice (without being pushy) to help us win bids. A couple of weeks into the process She left to go out of town for a while. Needless to say the hubby and I were nervous for who was filling in for her. Shurie Anderson stepped up to the plate. We are pleased to report that Shurie was just as amazing! She really had ownership of this whole process as well with us. She helped us secure our contract and was very assertive with less responsive agents. Both of these ladies are true hustlers! They are VERY responsive with communication and walking you through this process. They keep a very positive attitude and are very supportive. On closing day both ladies showed up to celebrate with us! I could not pick two perfect realtors or a more perfect team. This was the EASIEST home buying process because of Jennifer and Shurie! Both are truly amazing human beings!

Our experience is probably a bit different. We were in search of a home due to the company I work for relocating from California to the Denver area. As such, Madison & Company Properties was assigned to us by the relocation company and Jennifer came with the realty company. From day 1, back in December 2018, my wife and I felt as if we had known Jennifer for years. She put us at ease, took us around the various Denver neighborhoods and made a great first impression. What was impressive that Jennifer was truly very interested in helping my wife and I even though we would not be ready to purchase anything until the May 2019 timeframe. That is true commitment. She provided weekly listing for us to review on-line and as we had questions or comments she was very responsive and made changes to our preferences on the fly. Once we were ready to get serious and purchase a home Jennifer was the friend we had not seen for so many months, it was just like a reunion. Again, so very personable and was looking out for my wife and I not for herself or a commission, it was all about us! We found several perfect homes which she preselected for us, clearly, she is a mind reader, and that made selecting a property difficult. We did find the perfect home, made an offer in the morning but unfortunately during lunch we received a text that the property was sold to another buyer. Jennifer reassured us and we started the process the next day. Found the next perfect home and made an offer. By the next day we were in the running to purchase this perfect home and Jennifer worked with us on making a counter offer as the Denver market is very hot. Jenifer provided good guidance on what we might counter with and made sure that we kept our pre-approved value confidential so as not to tip off the seller. Once out offer was accepted, the real work began. Jennifer connected us with a very professional home inspection contractor. The inspection discovered a few items one of which was a radon mitigation device installation which could have caused us to spend an additional $1,200 to get the home. Somehow between Jennifer and the seller’s broker, magic happened because the seller agreed to pay for the work. Jennifer guided us through all of the paperwork, explained all of the terms in a clear fashion and was there for any questions we had. We were surprised to see Jennifer at our closing yet very delighted. With us every step of the way. When we purchase our dream cabin in the west, Jennifer will be our first and only call to represent us.
