A Snippet of who I am…
Having learned to ski at age 10, I’ve always been drawn to the water. The lake was small, and the boat was old, but was always a joy to experience the lake and views of waterfront homes. All of which I still enjoy today.
Growing up less than well to do, I started in the construction trades. I became involved in site selection for new projects, excavation, septic, and every aspect through roof shingles and final interior finishes. My first of several home builds was in 1999 and led me to real estate sales over 20 years ago.
With that said, water and real estate flows deep in me. I have answers to many experiences and know how to tackle challenges. Every day is to discover solutions to new problems. No two transactions are identical.

Low tolerance for fantasyland…I prefer to face reality head on. My clients tend to be the same. We do what we say. We learn, improve, share knowledge, experiences, and compliments. We strive to succeed at higher levels. And of course, we love warm sunny days on the lake!

As most businessmen start out, they meet real challenges. I was no different. First I didn’t know what I didn’t know. Soon I knew what I didn’t know, then my professional journey began. There’s a time in a professional’s life when a mentor appears. They share, coach, teach and instill concepts needed for success. I was fortunate my mentor appeared when I was ready to submit. He taught me systems, process, and discipline. Generally, the way to excel at meeting the needs of discerning clients.
From 2017 to 2023 I served as a principal broker with a large real estate firm in Tennessee. I had the pleasure, pain and fulfilling experience of growing a branch office to more than 130 affiliates and provided the support they needed to succeed. My role was to mitigate risk, comply with Tennessee Real Estate Commission and facilitate solutions for derailed transactions, which means I had opportunity to negotiate. With thousands of transactions closed, it’s an education achieved no other way. I am a trained Listener, Encourager, Problem Solver.
