When we decided to pull the trigger on selling our home and buying a new one, we had no idea where to actually start. We knew a pre-approval was needed and once that was done, we were assigned a realtor which didn’t work out. In searching for black realtors in South Jersey, we lucked up and found Jersey Joe. Upon reading his profile, we knew immediately he was the perfect fit for us. Having been fairly new to the real estate industry, we viewed this as a great opportunity to learn as much as we could through the process while also providing an opportunity for a young black professional to do the same. Joe provided a wealth of knowledge as we encountered each step. However, the best part was when there were situations presented or questions asked where he lacked knowledge, he didn’t simply ignore or provide incorrect information. Instead, he relied on his professional network resources which was very admirable. Joe was patient, informative, yet assertive in his approach with my husband and I as well as other real estate professionals with whom he worked with during the process. Looking back on the 6 week process, we know we made the best decision in choosing Jersey Joe as our realtor. Having sold our home at a price point he suggested after doing his research (which was much higher than we ever imagined!!!), then buying our dream home, we are so appreciative of the hard work and dedication shown to us throughout the process.
