Jesse Shepherd

Jesse finds that helping others achieve their goals is the surest path to success and happiness. He pours his energy into creating a positive experience for his clients while advocating for their interests. His process begins with asking questions and really listening to understand wants and needs. When he’s able to understand where you want to go, he can help you get there.

He was born and raised in Florida, but he really grew up at camp here in Bat Cave, North Carolina. He was a teacher in the Peace Corps before settling happily in Washington, DC for much of his twenties. One day, a lovely woman from Brevard, NC came into Biddy Mulligan’s Pub with a mutual friend, and he had to meet her. Eventually, she agreed to marry him, and they’ve made Western North Carolina their home ever since.

They live on a small farm established in the 1890’s with their two-year-old son, baby girl, scruffy dog, two cats, beehives, and a bunch of chickens. In addition to real estate, he enjoys homesteading, beekeeping, brewing, woodworking, poker, the outdoors, and travel.
