About Jessica
Most of you know she is inspired by almost anything! A great night’s sleep, a powerful dream, a really great cup of tea, reading a great book. She's inspired by listening to a great podcast and learning about a new nonprofit that helps others. Learning about a new race that funds a charity - yes! She has a long list of inspirations!!
She's truly this annoying in regular life! She enjoys working with other individuals who will also find inspiration or need a change of perspective. For her, finding inspiration always leads her back to helping others. It changes one's perspective and outlook. Regardless of the type of business she has, the common thread is referring to others, giving first, and being involved with nonprofits. Her goal in business is to help connect people.
In Real Estate it is very easy to connect with nonprofits and help. As she began recruiting and coaching Real Estate Agents, she realized there is a lot of opportunity that most agents were not taking a hold of. We have the opportunity not only to help others but act as conduit to get all of our friends and clients involved as well. She has found that people are generally impressive. People want to help others.
She was always worried that she wouldn't have enough time or enough money to really make a difference, and she allowed that fear to hold her back from trying. As she became involved with helping others and nonprofits, she found it really easy to get involved. She can donate her time and get others involved to donate their time and together we can be effective!
She found that each time she's been able to sponsor a $500 project for a nonprofit in order to help them bring in $5000! Wow! This is easier than she thought and more rewarding than she had experienced.
Similarly, she found coaching other agents to be very rewarding! It is a wonderful feeling to help others succeed. She passes along her belief that we should all be involved in helping others. Of course, your business will grow because people want to work with people that are helping others. She wants her clients and friends to remember that she's doing something to help others - the fact that she's in real estate is secondary.
Her business is 99% referral, if she does an excellent job for everyone, she works for they will send others. However, people only move every 5-7 years, so how does she keep clients coming in? She involves everyone she knows with all the goodness she can spread. She creates a collaboration that cares. She teams up with other professionals who give back and she refers them as often as possible. She helps organize parties and fundraisers to bring awareness. She holds workshops to empower people, and her network grows. It seems so simple, but it is a shift in mindset.
