After several failed attempts to fall in love with a nine-to-five job and a diminishing desire to climb the corporate ladder, I knew I needed to find something that fulfilled me. I found that “thing” while purchasing my first home. While buying my home with my husband, I realized that I was so excited to build a home and a space that I loved.

What I realized through the home buying process though was that the real estate industry lacked home buyer education, and there was a thick facade of how enjoyable the journey actually was. I felt dragged through the process, constantly tripping over an unexpected request or decision that needed to be made with little guidance.
