Jessica Ritter

Jessica Ritter is a native of Silver Spring, Maryland, and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Towson University in Baltimore, Maryland. Jessica’s professional career began in 1996 with 18 years working in the public sector for the Maryland Department of the Environment, Howard County (Maryland) Department of Planning and Zoning, and the Sarasota County (Florida) Parks and Recreation Department. Her professional experience in planning, development, community outreach/engagement, and park planning, has provided her the resources and skills to excel as Marketing and Customer Relations Manager, REALTOR®, and Matthew’s right-hand person!

Having parents who invested in real estate, Jessica grew to learn and love the process of buying, selling, and helping people find their homes. As an adult, this led her to transition from her public sector career to her work as a full-time REALTOR® working with Matthew.

In her spare time, Jessica enjoys Sarasota County’s beautiful parks, beaches, and trails. She also enjoys traveling, and exercise, and has a great love for all animals specifically shelter animals. Matt and Jessica have adopted several shelter dogs and cats but currently have two 4-legged kids: Capri, a mixed red heeler dog, and Salvatore (Sal), an aggressive ginger cat.

Jessica has contributed to our community by volunteering at organizations such as the Sarasota County Sea Turtle Protection Program, Senior Friendship Center, the City of Venice, and Suncoast Humane Society. Her love and passion for people, parks, and community will provide the superior customer service you deserve with your real estate experience.

Matt and Jessica have a long and firm foundation of friendship, marriage, and as professional colleagues. These two met working together at the Columbia Palace 9 movie theater when they were 17 & 18 and have been married since 1996!
