Jianmei Smith

From Beijing, China, Jianmei grew up listening to stories of the Empire and learning about the city's fascinating deep history. Beijing is close to her heart, and she often thinks fondly of the two mighty lion statues that stood before her grandfather's front gate. She has enjoyed watching the city transform, with its increasing number of modern towers and its strengthening force on an international level. Jianmei loves to travel and thoroughly enjoyed a trip she took to Japan in 2001 where she immersed herself in the language and culture. The highlight of her experience was the warm and polite people, who often invited her to dinner and taught her to make dumplings.

Jianmei studied International Trade at the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing and decided to continue her education at Bellevue College where she completed an accounting degree in 2009. She spent the last four years working as an accountant and bookkeeper, where she heightened her skills in finance, which have proven useful in her work as an agent. Jianmei is known for her passion for interacting with and helping people, which shines through both within and beyond her broker work. Teamwork is a part of Jianmei's philosophy as the most effective way to accomplish tasks. She has an extraordinary understanding in assisting international Chinese homebuyers to relocate or invest in the Pacific Northwest. Jianmei is also a client relationship expert.
