Jill spent a lot of her childhood vacationing in Western North Carolina and later worked at local summer camps during her college years. Knowing she wanted to live in Asheville, she moved to the area upon graduating college to do marketing for a local company. Jill received her degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Marketing and minor in Entrepreneurship from Salem College. During her college years she was captain of the Ethics Debate Team, Captain of the IHSA and IDA equestrian teams, started the lacrosse club, played basketball for a couple of years D3, Class President, Class Treasurer, and head of QUAD senior year for Salem College, Wake Forest University, Carolina University and UNC School of Arts.

Jill is a wife and mother of four amazing children. They have a mini farm where their adorable animals live. Three dogs: Arwen, an Irish Wolfhound; Maggie, a mini Australian Shepherd; and Caicos, an adopted Potcake from the Turks and Caicos. Her horse horse, an Akhal-Teke named Kegas; her kids pony, Blackberry; a mini named Shadow and a mini mule named Cooper. Can’t forget the most spoiled barn cat, Prince! As an equestrian of over 25 years, Jill spends her spare time riding horses and enjoys being involved in the equestrian community. She enjoys hiking in the local mountains and traveling with her family.
