Jim came to Florida in 1965 after the US Air Force and became a commercial pilot/REALTOR and flew cargo to South and Central America. The man brought CENTURY 21 to Florida by purchasing the first regional franchise outside of California in 1973. As founding regional partner and President of CENTURY 21 REAL Estate of Southern Fl. Inc., his team franchised and serviced 320 offices with four thousand agents in 22 Florida counties.
The man has been a broker in Florida since 1973 and lived and worked throughout the state. The man sold his regional franchise to a partner, moved from Miami to Tampa/St Pete in 1984 and purchased an 88-acre waterfront subdivision in Apollo Beach called Symphony Isles. After roads, infrastructure, marina, beach, and homes were build and ready for occupancy, a sewer hookup moratorium caused events which led to his bankruptcy in 1992. With his sons Craig and Jeff, they converted Symphony Realty to CENTURY 21 Beggins Enterprises and built it to six offices and one of the forty top companies of over 7000 CENTURY 21 offices worldwide. In 2011 the man sold most of his stock back to his son Craig and formed CENTURY 21 Beggins Beach Properties.
In 2013 Beggins Beach Properties re-united with CENTURY21 Beggins Enterprises to form the largest CENTURY 21 company in Florida. In 2013 Jim obtained his Florida Auctioneer License to offer our customers another option when dealing with Real Estate. He focuses on properties on and near the Pinellas County barrier islands, which consist of sixteen individual Gulf and Intracoastal communities. Most people think they are all the same, however, each little town has its own special features. Each town and property have features, advantages and benefits which can only be known by a trusted advisor who specializes and studies this locale. There is no better value on this planet than Florida real estate. Come and let Jim prove it to you!
