We worked with Jim’s son, Grant, and could not have been happier. In 2021, we got a cold call from Grant saying they had sold houses in the area and asked if we were looking to sell. We weren’t at the time, but luckily he called a few months later within days of us deciding to move. It was serendipity. Having never sold a house before, there was a lot of uncharted territory. Grant was not only patient, he was so helpful and always found an answer to any of our questions. We were so stressed having to move out of state quickly and buy a house, etc. and Grant made the process so, so smooth and seamless. Working with Grant Bim and Winning Edge realty was an incredible experience. I have purchased several homes before meeting Grant and I can say that their service is on a level all its own. Their responsiveness is incredible at all aspects of the sales process. They beat even their own estimates of what they thought our home could sell for. They managed to get multiple offers on our home in just two days! If you are a military member in the DC, MD, VA area, I couldn't recommend a better company to do business with. Not only did they help sell my home but they helped me find a great realtor in another state and find movers to help make the move as seamless as possible.

On March 8, 2022, I closed on the sale of my home in Canton Baltimore City through Winning Edge Realty. Throughout the very brief sales process, which was handled by Grant Bimstefer, I was incredibly impressed, as I have had the property up for sale in the not-too-distant past, with no success. I first met with Grant and his dad Jim (yes, a true family business) for a market assessment and pricing/sales strategy and at first was skeptical of the approach that was suggested. We followed that approach, and the house was sold within 3 days of the listing date at a price higher than list. After accepting the offer and up to the closing, Grant was in constant contact with me going over details and helping me arrange my exit from the house. The experience was seamless and without pain, especially since this is not my primary residence and much of my interaction with Grant was from New Jersey. I’ve sold many houses in many locations and the Winning Edge was in the best of the best category. Short version: Weston (Jim's son) is an absolute gem and if you're looking to buy or sell, he is who you should call.

Long version: About a year ago, I felt like a hermit crab living in a shell that was much too small. I had a 2 year old and was very pregnant. We needed a new house, even though I had grown up in this one.

I was a ball of hormones and nerves when I found Weston. He helped me and my family every step of the way. He walked house after house with us and was patient with me as I struggled with such a huge decision.

Now, I couldn't be happier. My husband sees my smile and frequently says, "Don't say 'I love this house.'" I can't help it! I LOVE this house. I'm going to raise my children and make memories here and I couldn't have done it without Weston.

He went above and beyond, answering my questions and doing research into it if he couldn't. He helped me sell the old house too, quick and painless. I would recommend him to anyone! Sure, everyone has that friend or cousin who's a real estate agent, but Weston is a second generation with his family's experience supporting his amazing work ethic and personality. This already stressful process was complicated by the pandemic, the height of the housing market, and a move across state lines. We were referred to Weston by another realtor, and we were very happy with how everything turned out. Through numerous weekend trips, submitted offers, and lots and lots of phone calls, Weston helped us through the process from start to finish. His upbeat attitude and optimism throughout the process really took the edge off a difficult process. Thank YOU, Grant and the Bim Team! I'm so glad I picked up my parents' phone that spring day in 2020 when Grant called our Clarksville home. From that first conversation Grant was one of the most upbeat, affable, and resourceful professionals I have ever dealt with. On that day we talked for at least 45 minutes and most of it was talking about our family histories, sports, colleges, common bonds, life... and death. I felt like I was talking to a member of my family. That wasn't the only time we would talk about how life was going and Grant was always kind and able to relate and would talk about the best way to approach something, etc. He was very knowledgeable and ready to get an answer if he didn't know something off the top of his head. In this situation of representing my parents, maybe even more than on my own behalf, I felt I needed to understand everything and look at things from all angles – Grant and the Bim Team were not daunted by all of my questions and those of my siblings. I've sold three homes with Jim Bim... Jim makes it extremely easy for us by creating a strategy that maximizes the value of our house and gets the utmost attention by potential buyers. Jim understood what it took to get our house into the proper condition for sale, and did not recommend items that would be costly and not have a return. Jim arranged the contractors to address any items to prep for sale, and within three days, we had multiple offers significantly above asking price. Following getting a contract on the house, Jim continued to be tightly engaged with us to get through the closing and working with the buyers to purchase items that we were leaving behind in our house. Jim was very patient with helping us find our new home (we were picky and took over a year), but was quick and decisive once we found it. He negotiated us a better deal than we thought possible and made the process easy for us.
When it came to selling the old house it went fast - we had our buyer before the end of the first weekend it went on the market, and exactly in the price range we hoped! Jim’s strategy definitely paid off (literally).

My wife and I were just thinking about downsizing, and selling our home which we had been in for the last 20 years, when we came upon our new home while just driving around and looking for signs in the yards and following up on homes we had seen online. We saw their sign and called Grant immediately. He set us up to see the new house that day, actually about an hour later. My wife and I fell in love with the house right away, and quickly decided we wanted to move forward with trying to purchase our new home. But, we needed to sell our current house in order to do that, but we didn't know where to begin. Grant made us feel so comfortable while showing us the new house, that we asked him for his help to sell our current home. We set up a time for Team Bim to come over and see our house, and talk about every aspect of selling a home and going over expectations. They walked us through everything from pricing, to staging the house and how they were wanting to market our home. I have to admit, I was a little skeptical of how we were going to do this, but the confidence they projected was overwhelming and we proceeded forward. Team Bim took charge and were in contact multiple times per day by phone, email, text, etc. We never felt like we were alone in this and actually felt that Winning Edge were working their tails off for us, every single day. We received our first showing appointment confirmation, within an half hour of the house hitting the market. In the first 24 hours, we had 9 showings and our house was under contract by the second day, at full price, with zero stipulations. WOW, we were totally blown away at how quickly and professionally they made this happen. They also guided us on the purchase of our new home in conjunction with the sale, seamlessly so everything was coordinated for both sale and purchase. They took care of every detail on both transactions. We closed on both houses on the same day, with Grant leading the way and we are now very happy in our new home. I really can't say enough about Grant, as we could not have done any of this without him. We had the unique experience of having Jim and Grant Bim represent us twice for the same property. Our contract fell through the first time when they were Agents of Long and Foster; when we relisted, Jim and Grant had formed Winning Edge their family-owned and operated brokerage. I mention this for two reasons. One, when the first contract fell through they did everything in their power to get to closing. The fact that we didn't get there was not because of their lack of effort. When we relisted with Winning Edge, we were concerned that not having the name Long and Foster behind them would be a disadvantage. This was NOT the case whatsoever. Grant's tenacity and focus on getting to closing was the same. I learned that it isn't the "name" of the company representing you, it's the people who do that's most important.

Grant and his team at Winning Edge Realty are absolutely the best real estate team we have worked with in selling our Ellicott City, Maryland home. Highly recommended based on exceptional service, dedication, expertise, and professionalism that far exceeded our expectations!!

Having to move out of the States due to job relocation, our home had to sell fast. But it was out in the market for several months, with little success in the sales front by another real estate agency. We took it off the market, considering rental options. But Grant approached us, strategically articulating the value of selling our home vs renting under current conditions.
