Copeland Real Estate
About Jim
Jim Copeland has been a licensed real estate broker for 40 years. He has been involved in the sale of hundreds of homes, lots, acreage parcels, ranches and commercial properties. He was also the Vice-President of a top El Dorado County home building and development company for 14 of those years and coordinated marketing for that company.
Jim has provided consulting services to developers and home-building companies, has experience in cell phone tower leasing and was the Land Acquisition Manager for one of the largest apartment developers in the Western U.S.
Jim's philosophy is "to work with a limited number of clients and provide the highest quality of service that I can. Too many agents simply list as many properties as they can and put them on the Multiple Listing Service where they languish for lack of attention." He provides his clients with a specific marketing plan and periodic updates of his activities.
Jim's first love is ranches, rural and recreational properties and recently served for 4 years as the Territory Manager of El Dorado County for California Outdoor Properties, Inc., a leading ranch and rural property real estate firm.
Jim was the original founder of El Dorado County Habitat for Humanity, Inc., served on the El Dorado County Builders Exchange Board of Directors, El Dorado County Economic Advisory Committee, El Dorado County Housing Advisory Committee and served on advisory committees for two California state legislators.
