About Jim

After a very successful thirty six year career in sales management and team building for a Fortune 500, I decided to retire and discover myself through other opportunities. During my tenure, it was clear that every successful salesperson was dedicated to service, anyone can sell things, few have the commitment to serve their customers. I managed hundreds of people, helped to develop many of the current company leaders, set sales and growth records and developed sales teams that empowered individuals to succeed and grown by emphasizing and teaching them to focus on service . Like many retirees, I discovered I was not ready to relax and fade off into the sunset. I realized after about six months that I really thrive in a sales environment. However, I also knew I no longer wanted to be the corporate guy. Don't get me wrong, it was a great run with a great company. I wanted the challenge and feeling you get when you help someone achieve a goal or dream. And I wanted the freedom to work on my schedule. In June of 2018, I decided to join Tammie, my wife of forty years in the real estate business. She is successful and seemed to be really enjoying helping buyers and sellers achieve their home goals. We formed a team under our Brokers oversight called Home Navigators Team. We are proud and fortunate to be part of the S&D Real Estate Services Team in Lakeland, FL. In 2018 we received the Bronze award for sales achievement at our brokerage, through June of 2019 we have exceeded 2018 total sales for our team. We are constantly investing in self improvement and our profession of attending educational classes that help us stay on top of the ever changing housing industry and rules and regulations. Our core philosophy is success through professionalism, knowledge, integrity and commitment to service. We know anyone can sell a home, we are committed to providing you the best service possible reducing stress in your life as often as possible. We attend all inspections whenever possible. We work with local title companies and lenders to help you get through the process. We believe in giving back, we live in and support our community and many charitable organizations, locally, nationally and overseas.
