Jim Moore

Jim was born and raised in Lexington, Virginia. He grew up just outside of town on his family's dairy and beef cattle farm. His ancestors settled in Rockbridge County before 1750, and his family has lived here continually since then. With his wife Jeri, a real estate agent with his firm, Jim enjoys outdoor recreation, traveling, and farming.

He is one of only 20 Realtors in Virginia to be awarded the coveted Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) professional designation. In addition, he also holds the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and Graduate, Realtors Institute (GRI) designations. He knows the market and takes great pride in his work. Jim has been full-time in the real estate business since 1974. He founded his own firm in 1988 specializing in Land, Residential and Country Property. He prides himself on building long-term relationships with his clients.

His experience includes successfully marketing land, farms, commercial, residential, and historic properties throughout the Shenandoah Valley and Western Virginia. A consistent producer of multi-million dollar sales volume, Jim is affiliated with a broad network of Associates throughout Virginia and the United States.
