Jim Reed

Jim joined CityLight Homes in 2022. He has been an active real estate investor and property owner since 2001. Having bought and sold numerous properties, he has no shortage of first-hand experience in the intricacies and nuances of each unique real estate transaction.

Before joining CityLight, Jim spent the past 2+ years as the top-producing agent at a boutique firm based in Boston’s South End and has served buyers and sellers in Boston and around the suburbs. Prior, he was a licensed real estate agent with a 5-Agent team at a national firm in Brookline that completed over $90M (buy and sell) in 2019. Prior to his career in real estate, Jim worked in account management for Blackrock and Citigroup where he gained valuable institutional client service, financial planning and asset modeling experience. More recently, Jim served as the President and CEO of a successful international wholesale consumer product company, which he later sold. With a longtime focus on customer service and client satisfaction, Jim is eminently approachable and solution oriented.

Jim is a valued member of the National Association of Realtors and the Greater Boston Real Estate Board. He earned a B.A. in Environmental Science from the University of Denver. He is the proud father of two daughters, one of whom attends his alma mater, while the other is a senior in high school. Jim lives in Brookline and in his spare time you can find him on a golf course, a tennis court, or on some type of board in the ocean.
