Jim Schwarz

Jim Schwarz has established himself as one of the top agents in the Twin Cities working with buyers and sellers since 2004. Jim has a particular focus on residential real estate in the western and southwestern suburbs.

Having worked in corporate America for 17 years, Jim made the move to residential real estate in 2004 joining Lakes Sotheby’s International Realty in 2011. His business philosophy of focusing on relationships, exceptional service, and a constant drive for results, has been his recipe for success.

Jim has relationships with many of the top builders and architects in the Twin Cities. In fact, he has worked with world renowned architect Charles R. Stinson for more than 9 years. Jim is becoming known as the 'go to Realtor' in the Twin Cities for modern and contemporary homes. He also has significant experience with corporate relocation, vacant land, and investment properties.

Born and raised outside of Madison, Wisconsin, Jim’s work ethic and drive for success started at an early age. His college years began at the University of Wisconsin but finished at Florida State University, earning degrees in both Finance and Accounting, ultimately becoming a CPA. After working at a worldwide accounting, auditing, and tax firm in Miami for several years, Jim headed north to Minneapolis to further his career in business and get closer to family.

Jim is happily married to his beautiful wife, Pam. Together they have a daughter, Alyssa, and son, Ryan. Being a 30+ year resident of the Twin Cities, Jim is very involved in the community. He is a long-time member of Westwood Community Church and the Chanhassen Rotary Club.
