Jimmy obtained his GRI designation which stands for Graduate REALTOR Institute through the Texas Association of Realtors. He has received titles such as the Victoria Board of Realtor's “REALTOR OF THE YEAR”, Victoria Advocate's “Best of The Best” Realtor, and has been honored with several awards through the Coldwell Banker franchise over the years including the International President’s Circle and International President’s Elite awards.

Jimmy stays actively involved in the community by supporting multiple local charities and organizations. He currently resides in Victoria with his wife and business partner, Dawn Zaplac, who he works with closely to lead The Zaplac Group.
