Joan Fund

Joan M. Fund received her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and her law degree from Capital University Law School. Starting her law career in mediation, she changed her focus to advocacy honing her skills as a litigator. While working for the Bristol District Attorney’s Office, she tried more cases to verdict than any other prosecutor in the state.
Joan now uses her expertise on behalf of her clients. She has successfully tried criminal and civil cases ranging from first degree murder to malpractice. Her areas of practice are Criminal; Litigation & Appeals; Post Trial Convictions and Federal Criminal Cases.
In 2016, Joan Fund received the Top 10 Criminal Defense Attorneys Award for Massachusetts. It is the highest honor bestowed by the National Academy of Criminal Defense Attorneys.
From 2013 to present, Attorney Fund was chosen by her peers as one of the top 100 Trial Lawyers. She is a member of The National Trial Lawyers, the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Massachusetts Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the National Academy of Criminal Defense Attorneys.
Attorney Fund is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, the United States District Court of Massachusetts and the US Court of Appeals First Circuit.
