Joan is a member of the Rathdrum, Post Falls and Coeur d’Alene Area Chambers of Commerce and is actively involved in many community activities. She serves on the Kootenai County Airport Advisory Board for the Coeur d’Alene Airport and is a former Board Member of the Coeur d’Alene Airport Association. Joan has Chaired the Multiple Listing Service Education Committee for years.
Christmas is a favorite time of year when she assists her husband (who is a dead ringer for Santa) appear as Santa at a wide variety of events supporting non-profits where there is no money to provide a Santa. She also supports the Senior Cheer program that provides Christmas presents for low-income senior citizens in the area.
