Joan Macalalad

It was her parents' first purchase of investment property back in the early 90s that sparked the real estate passion inside of Joan, but it wasn't until her husband, Conrad, chided her into the business that her passion became a fulfilling career.

After graduating from UC Irvine in 2000 with a double major in Environmental Analysis & Design + Psychology & Social Behavior, like a lot of graduates she found it challenging to find a job that fit her personality, interests and academic background. Joan realized that the jobs she held as an environmental scientist and medical facilities planner were okay, but they didn't quite utilize her exemplary skills at relationship building and customer service. It wasn't until she started working at Citibank as a personal banker that she realized these natural qualities she possessed were useful in the working world.

Accomplishing several years of hitting her goals as a personal banker, Joan's husband suggested that she try the real estate business so they could work together as a team. Since then, Joan has taken over the reins and has successfully grown the family real estate business.

As a licensed agent, Joan works with boundless energy as a powerful advocate, partner and agent for both sellers and buyers to reach their real estate goals.
