Joan Meyer

Joan Meyer is a "legend" among all of Acton 's real estate agents. In the business for 40 years, no one has the depth of knowledge and instant recall that she has. And few can match her in sheer energy and understanding of the market from a historical perspective.

Joan was an Acton resident for 33 years, before moving to neighboring Boxborough in 1999. She has been affiliated with The Acton Real Estate Company since 1976 and was the owner of the company from 1980 until 2008. She continues to work daily, assisting clients in buying and selling properties. She also happily helps agents on how to work effectively for their clients, and by example, how to sustain a sterling reputation.

A top producer throughout her career, Joan is the recipient of numerous professional designations. Her contagious enthusiasm for all things real estate related has led to an extensive list of referrals and repeat clients. She has served on town committees and business boards throughout her career and has been honored with industry and community awards. Her latest achievement is 2017 Top Producer at Acton Real Estate.

She loves reconnecting with past clients and helping them sell their existing house and move to the next, be it upgrading or downsizing, whether it is a second home or retirement residence.

Joan embraces recent technology and is connected to many websites, including Facebook and LinkedIn.

Her leisure activities include vacations in Maine and trips to England with her husband-- in each case to spend time with her children and four grandchildren.

Professionally she also has been an active member of the Greater Boston Board, the Women's Council of Realtors, and the Middlesex West Chamber of Commerce.
