About Joe
The Dawson family has called Wallowa County their home for several generations. His family has owned and operated a farm/ranch between Enterprise and Joseph for three generations. From a young age, Joe's summers were spent irrigating, haying, combining, and working cattle. After graduating from Joseph High School he went on to attend Gonzaga University where he received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. While in college Joe spent his summers on construction crews, laboring in between custom homes and forest jobs throughout Eastern Oregon. After graduating from Gonzaga in 2010 he returned home to manage the family farm where, with local partners, they raise cattle, hay, and grain crops.
Joe married his wife, Chelsea, in 2015 and they have since had two daughters, Mia and Nikki, who they are raising at their home on the family ranch. Joe spends his spare time actively participating in the local community; he serves as a board member of Wallowa Resources, he is Vice President of Wallowa County Farm Bureau, and he is the Secretary for Wallowa Lake Irrigation District. Joe's passions are family, agriculture, real estate, and being involved in this great community.
