When we purchased our home I thought that was going to be one of the most difficult and trying experiences of my life. Having never bought a home before we were taken aback by the amount of documents we needed to provide and review and sign. From our perspective it seemed so much more trying than what we imagined the seller was going through. We were in for a surprise.

Beyond the emotional toll it might take on you when you find yourself needing to sell your home, the challenges can stack up. Inspection upon inspection, repair upon repair, disclosure upon disclosure. It seemed like it would be unbearable for most; there were times I definitely would've reconsidered the whole shebang and just surrendered myself to staying put given the amount of effort needed.

However it was pleasantly not as difficult as it might have seemed given the amazing partnership we'd developed with our agent, Joe. From the first phone call he allowed us to feel heard and supported. His expertise in the field and his determination to represent us and achieve our goals shone through in the first phone conversation through the last walk through of the home with the buyers.

Our house needed a bit of TLC and we were terrified that we weren't going to be able to meet our financial goals of the sale, but Joe cast aside our doubts and provided us with a successful path forward that allowed us to earn exactly what we'd hoped for. When other agents were telling us to drop the price beyond anything we considered reasonable, Joe was pragmatic but optimistic. His team was incredible to work with also. Meagan was a huge relief through the mountains of documents we had to provide and sign.

I think it'll be some time before we're ready to purchase a home again, and I'm sad to reflect when the time comes I don't think we'll be buying in the San Diego area again, but if happenstance finds us back in San Diego there's no question about who our first call is going to when it's time to buy a home: Joe and his great team!

Joe Actually Sold my house much Quicker than I Thought which was Great!!

Joe helped us pull off a purchase in the exact neighborhood we wanted in San Diego (he helped us decide by touring us around and pulling from years of local knowledge) in a crazy competitive market in spring 2022. After losing on our first offer, he said he "hated losing" and helped us put our best offer forward the second and final time around, negotiating masterfully with the listing agent. His team members Julissa and Meagan were also fantastic in the process, with Julissa touring us around some too and Meagan keeping track of details and making the whole process smooth from going under contract to inspection to signing all the papers and closing. We found them all to be lovely people, and would definitely work with them again and recommend!

If you are looking for a knowledgeable, professional realtor, you should contact Joe Farrage at RE/MAX Elite Properties, BUT be ready to move fast. My house sold and closed escrow 22 days after my first meeting with Joe - a mere 16 days after listing AND above asking price!
We had owned the house for almost 32 years and never gotten around to downsizing so when I called to make the initial appointment with Joe I fully anticipated that I would need to spend at least $25,000 to make the house presentable and the work would take three months.
To my utter surprise and amazement, Joe told me to start packing because the improvements I thought were needed were not necessary. It took me and my family six days to find me a new home and pack up what we wanted to take from the house.
Then Team Farrage took over. Big Craig and his crew cleared out the clutter in the house. Stagers did their magic in less than a day. Photos were taken. Two open houses were scheduled. Meagan, Joe's assistant - actually his left and right hands! - guided this first time home seller through the intricate document maze and was always only a text or call away. Meagan gave me progress updates at least two times each day and was so patient answering my many questions.
If you are looking for a realtor who will listen to your goals and go the extra mile to protect your best interests, you need look no further. Joe and his incredible Team will perform beyond your expectations. Call Joe. You will be happy you did.

We cannot speak highly enough of our experience with Joe Farrage! We were first-time home buyers with very little knowledge or experience. As our Realtor, he helped us find the right house in the right neighborhood for the right price. He was incredibly patient as we searched throughout all of San Diego County time and time again, ultimately finding the perfect fit for our family. Joe is an amazing real estate agent. He reached out to me over a year ago and I was not ready to buy at that time. He would occasionally check in with me in a non-pushy way and always asked me if I needed anything. When I was finally ready to look, he was readily available and after discussing what I wanted, knew exactly where to take me. He found a place fast.
