About Joe

Joe’s first experience in real estate occurred in 1982 when he and a fraternity brother purchased two investment properties in Knoxville. His post-graduate experiences led him to the hospitality industry when he opened Hachland Hill Vineyard Corporate Retreat in 1984. Though Joe does not oversee day-to-day operations, the retreat continues to be a success.

After 20 years in the hospitality industry, Joe returned to the real estate business and joined Keller Williams Realty in 2002. He and his wife Sally, also a Keller Williams agent, are consistently in the top 1% for sales among all agents in the Middle Tennessee area. Joe has chaired several committees at Professional Association of Greater Nashville Realtors including Professional Standards Committee Chair. He has achieved years of award excellence including 2017 Greater Nashville Realtors Gold Award Winner.

Married in 1990, Joe and Sally have three children. The boys graduated from Montgomery Bell Academy. Joseph graduated Vanderbilt University and is currently working in real estate investment banking in NYC. Carter graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2016 and is now managing the family business, Hachland Hill. Liza attended The Harpeth Hall School in Nashville and graduated from Bellarmine University in Louisville, KY and now manages fitness centers in Salt Lake City, Utah. Their interests have run the gambit from year ‘round swimming to football, wrestling, lacrosse, and baseball to music and art. All of which have led to a wealth of resources for Joe and Sally to share with you and your family. In his free time, Joe himself enjoys duck hunting and fishing
