When I landed my first "Dream Job" in 1984, I was over 2000 miles from home in Santa Barbara, California. I was the Morning DJ on a New Top-40 Radio Station there, and thought I had hit the jackpot. Born and raised in Michigan, the California coast offered intrigue and huge excitement!! However, I quickly felt empty and not as fulfilled as I had hoped. After barley a year, I gave up my full time "gig" to take a part time radio position in Detroit (WHYT-Power96FM) to get back HOME . . To get back to my family and friends, which meant MORE to me than anything the Gold Coast had to offer.
The late 80's were a blast in the radio industry, but I still felt the need for something more fulfilling, something more important than acting goofy and playing music on the radio. I got my real estate license in 1989 and began the adventure of a lifetime!! I quickly realized how amazing it is to help people with one of THEE most important decisions of their lives. Real Estate has not been an "occupation" ~ it's been my passion. I'll treat you like family, turn every stone, and take a zero if necessary to help you get to closing.
