As an experienced Realtor in North San Diego County since 1998, Joe Johnston has helped hundreds of happy clients buy and sell homes throughout San Diego County and South Orange County. Early in Joe’s career, he had the good fortune to attend a Brian Buffini seminar and adopted the principles allowing him to achieve the highest level of client satisfaction resulting in 95% of his current business coming from referrals and word of mouth. Joe understands that business is truly about relationships, and he works tirelessly for his clients to find them their perfect home and to sell their homes for the highest return.

Joe is a Small Group Leader for Buffini & Company and has helped to mentor other Realtors and Lenders while running his very successful real estate business. One of the exclusive value-added extras that he provides to his clients is hosting a housewarming or going away party allowing them the opportunity to welcome friends, family, and neighbors to their new home or to celebrate their sale.

Before his real estate career, Joe was involved in his family’s Wind Turbine Business and helped to grow the company into one of the top electrical contracting firms in the United States, providing clean energy to communities across the Southwest.

Originally from Bakersfield, Joe attended Cal. State Northridge and lived in the Los Angeles area for ten years before moving to Carlsbad in 1997. During his time in LA, Joe was actively involved in theater and film and had the honor to work at the prestigious American Film Institute in Hollywood. Joe has two daughters who are both involved in the vibrant local theater scene in North San Diego County, and he spends every moment that he can with them. He stays active in his community by donating his time to local charities and enjoying the outdoors.
