About Joe

Joe is the visionary behind The Condo Showroom and it his goal to create a real estate brokerage founded on the ethical representation of consumers. "Getting a deal done" for the sake of closing out a transaction should never be the focus, but the result of making sure that the client's best interests were represented.

-"So many times, in my career I have seen other agents push a transaction through and leave money on the table for their clients. It's not the right way to do business."

Mr. Marcotte is a long time San Diegan and has served the public in various roles and capacities. From 1992-2005, Joe was a Chula Vista Police Officer and obtained the rank of Detective before retiring with a disability injury. Currently, Joe spends his down time coaching wrestling at Bonita Vista High School in the South Section of San Diego and runs a youth wrestling program that his own children participate in.

When Joe broke into Real Estate after leaving the Police Department in 2005, he recognized a need for professional property management in Downtown San Diego. Joe's clients were not using their second homes on a regular basis and wanted a return on their investment. One rental condominium turned into two which turned into 5, 10, 20, etc. At one time, Joe managed almost one hundred rental units and was widely recognized as the leading condominium manager in downtown. As with all successful businesses, may copycat companies popped up and the market is full of management options.

Mr. Marcotte and his team still run the most ethical and successful condominium management business es downtown, and their experience in this area gives them a strong competitive advantage over other local real estate brokers and agents.
