San Diego lifer (with an office a block from where he was born!) he knows every
inch of the city and region—and has lived in various homes from La Jolla, University City, El Cerrito, San Carlos to his current residence in Encinitas. Mclaughlin also has a background
in construction and landscaping, with five years of experience in each field, and
brings that knowledge to all of his transactions.
Away from the office, Mclaughlin is an avid surfer of 50 years and an active member
of the Windandsea Surf Club. He’s a regular volunteer and supporter of annual
events such as Kids’ Day At The Beach, Special Surfers’ Day At The Beach and the
Menhune Surf Contest; he’s also a frequent contributor to Feeding San Diego
and a past member of the University City Community Association
planning committee. When he’s not at the beach or hiking with his wife, Carla, he’s
at home with their two beloved Maine Coon cats, Arlo and Louie.
