I wasn’t his client however he referred to excellent agent in Southern shore of MD and invested his time to help/communicate between my fiancé & me and realtor; in addition, he invested more time to explain our realtor how to work with Deaf clients and basic information about American Disability Access rights. Joe is the best and will exceed your expectations! This review is long overdue. Joe listed a house for us that was part of an Estate, which by nature is more complicated than a regular home sale. Joe was absolutely phenomenal through the entire process and everything you’d hope for in a Realtor. Throughout the entire process Joe was the perfect partner, offering sage advice, proactively communicating, providing contractor referrals and meeting with contractors/inspectors. Since we live out of state, Joe’s offer to meet with contractors and do a lot of the heavy lifting saved us countless trips to Maryland.
He sold the house quickly and above the asking price. When the buyer threw us an unjust major curveball prior to closing, Joe carefully and successfully navigated us through the rough sea. We went to settlement on time and the closing was flawless and stress-free. We are forever grateful for the incredible job Joe did for us. When my mom decided it was time to sell the house she shared with my dad for 35+ years, I introduced her to Joe.

While the house was in a highly desirable neighborhood (Shipley's Choice), it needed a lot of work to get it ready for sale. Joe had the resources, knowledge and patience to make the process as effortless as possible.

When the house was ready to be listed, interest rates were higher and the market was slowing. Joe had the expertise and information to set the price JUST right. And then he advertised the listing creatively and effectively, resulting in an offer ABOVE the asking price just DAYS later.

A signed contract didn't mean Joe's work was done: he helped Mom through the inspections and coordination with the title company. And when something came up last-minute and I couldn't attend the settlement, I knew Mom would be in good hands because Joe was there. This is the second home Joe has sold for us and he's the only realtor we'll call when it's time to sell the next one.

Husband and I will be getting out of the military in about year, so we flew to the Dallas area to scope the area. We happened upon Jo by accident, driving by a home that was showing and decided to walk in. I am SO GLAD we did!! Not only is she friendly and helpful, she is extremely honest on her opinions on the market, prices for homes, and areas of living. We ended up taking her card because we knew we wanted to go through her when we started looking to buy.
Fast forward 2 months later, I reached out to Jo via email, wasn't sure if she would remember us, but she did! TLDR: If you are looking for a realtor, call Joe! You will be SO glad you did. He is an expert realtor who is also honest, genuine, trustworthy, and just an amazing person. Call him!

I can't say enough about how amazing Joe is. He helped me find my home in less than four weeks from when we first started working together (and the first three weeks I was away on travel)! I met Joe while he was working with my mom to sell her house. At that time I was working with another realtor who for many reasons was just not a good match for me. I ended up working with this other realtor for two years before I gave up on him. After how amazing Joe was with taking care of my mother's real estate needs, Joe was the first person I called. Within the first five minutes of discussing my situation with Joe, I wished I had been working with him from the beginning of my search.

As a first time home-buyer, I was looking for someone who I felt was really working on my behalf, and someone that could give me definitive feedback and advice on how to put together strong offers, as well as someone who could quickly respond to requests to see new houses showing up on the market. Joe's knowledge, expertise, and care put me completely at ease. His personable and genuine personality gave me the assurance I needed that he was looking out for my best interest every step of the way. He always took the time to answer all my questions and I never felt like he was rushed to get off the phone or end the conversation. He made me feel like I was his only client. He showed a genuine concern and interest in making sure he understood what I was looking for in a home, making sure I understood the process, what my hang-ups were, and even gave me his honest opinion on things when I asked what he would do in my situation. I truly don't think I would have been able to find the home I did without Joe's help. I started working with Joe and his team in 2020. During our first meeting and throughout the process, he was very professional, organized, detailed and personable. With the uncertainly of our move timeline (based on COVID, etc.), Joe and his team were very flexible. They checked in with me regularly on the status of my timeline, and nearly a year after we initially met, I was finally ready to list my home.

Then, it felt like a roller coaster of a process began (they warned me). The timeline moved very quickly once listing happened. I was a first-time home seller, so I was new to EVERY thing, and I asked Joe and his team (Brittany Edmondson, Stacey Gembicki) what felt like a million questions. They were very responsive every time, and if they didn't know they answer right away, they found out and got back to me in a timely manner. And they were always pleasant. I'm really big on communication, so this quality is a big one for me.

Another thing that was very important to me was being able to trust the right work would get done. Joe and Brittany made specific recommendations on what they believed would help increase the value of my home and they did so mindfully. I asked for several scenarios involving mostly cosmetic work which they provided. I wanted to ensure the house was painted and carpeted based on their recommendations. At no time did I feel any pressure to go one way or the other. They simply laid out the options and I made the ultimate decision. They also offered up trusted vendors. This made me very comfortable with Joe and Brittany.

While I went with their carpet contact (who was very fairly priced), I found the painters I wanted to work with. Because I was scheduled to move out of state, I knew I wouldn't be able to see the work in the house and ensure it had been done to my satisfaction. This is where the trust part was vital. Brittany took the time to physically meet with the vendors and inspect the home on more than one occasion. She also video chatted me while doing a physical inspection of the paint and carpet, and in real time, relayed what loose ends we'd like the vendors to tie up. This made me feel like they were just as invested in the sale of my home as I was.

We had some bumps in the selling process, not with Joe or his team, but on the buyers' side. One thing I really appreciated again, was the communication from Joe about the not-so-good news (closing being pushed back because of buyer financing issues). Even though it took some additional time, ultimately everything worked out with my home selling well above asking! I couldn't be more satisfied!

Fast forward past the home-selling experience. I had some follow-up questions, and just as Joe was before, he was responsive and reached out proactively to check in even though our business was technically concluded. This makes you feel like you're not just a number with Joe and his team, but very valued. I am extremely happy with Joe and his wonderful team and if I get the chance to do business again with them I will jump at the chance.

It is rare that things for me ever happen without some kind of major issue. I figured that doing something as big as selling a house would go exactly the same way. I was very wrong about that. Joe and his team made this just about the most stress free thing that I have ever done. As with anything, issues popped up here and there. Joe jumped on them very quickly and had them resolved before I really had time to even think about them. He puts in the hard work to truly understand the market of the area you are buying or selling in, he isn't pushy about anything and will be very honest and up front with you. The best part is that he does all of that and is still one hell of a nice guy. Joe is the only realtor that I would recommend to friends and family.

I was referred to Joe by my loan officer when I first started my journey to buy a home, my husband and I were first time homebuyers and didn’t know what the first step was.
