About Joe

Born and raised in Charleston, West Virginia, Joe and his wife moved to Berkley County to teach after graduating from WVU in 1987. They were drawn to the warm climate, southern hospitality and laid-back lifestyle South Carolina offers, not to mention the beach. They raised three wonderful children in this beautiful community. They continue to make him proud serving others as a teacher, doctor and clinical counselor.

He loves working with people and enjoyed teaching choral music for 31 years to over 20,000 students! He's pleased to have guided, mentored and encouraged so many to pursue their dreams in music. He is honored to have been elected as teacher of the year at two schools. He takes special pride in seeing many of his former students serving others in the classroom as teachers.

He has directed church music over 27 years, where he enjoys singing everything from classical music through contemporary. He's valued performing and directing music in shows with the Flowertown Players in Summerville and Charleston Symphony Singers. He is currently the assistant director of the Singers of Summerville. The Lowcountry being so rich in arts, natural beauty, culture and history is great place to live and raise a family. Directing music, playing guitar, singing and teaching all ages helps him appreciate the process of learning, listening and SEEING COMPLICATED PROJECTS THROUGH TO SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION.

He has always enjoyed the home building and renovation process and the home improvement and sales industry. He knows from experience the details of relocating, home buying, refurbishing, marketing and selling. All those details, plus home inspections, appraisals and arranging financing can be intimidating without the right coach in your corner. His clients will have someone with a strong work ethic and desire to help. His goal is to listen and confidently help guide them through the home sales process.
