Joe grew up in a house designed by a student of Frank Lloyd Wright that was hand-built by his parents, full of natural wood and warmth. It is surprising angles and curious nooks, and crannies informed his youthful imagination. He firmly believes that the houses we live in help shape us. He’s been a homeowner in Seattle’s Mt. Baker neighborhood for over 20 years and is continually improving the form and function of our house. This year he became president of the PTA at his daughter’s school, with the aim of making it even better. He loves ping pong for its simple social fun and the amazing skill the best players have. He’s lucky to have friends from all over the world, and you might see him riding his tall vintage bike around town.
