Joel Aho

Joel M. Aho founded Aho Properties in 2018 as a boutique commercial real estate brokerage firm focused on offering specific real estate services to select clients. Joel is a third generation real estate professional who is able to leverage over fourteen years of brokerage experience to help his clients achieve their real estate objectives. His scope of work during this time has included land and building sales, office and industrial leases, consulting services, tenant and landlord/owner representation as well as investment sales. A particular focus and area of strength is Joel’s ability to locate off market acquisition opportunities for clients looking to buy something specific when a suitable property is not on the market. In addition to brokerage, he also has real estate development experience as he successfully secured the necessary permits to construct a 25,000 SF industrial project in Southborough MA in 2018.

Joel is a graduate of Babson College in Wellesley MA. He has also worked as a Senior Financial Analyst for the global defense and security company BAE Systems, as well as doing a short stint as a student missionary with the international Christian missions organization Youth With A Mission and coaching high school hockey for four seasons
