Joel and his wife, Shawna, moved to McCall from Bend, OR, in 2004 to start a property management company, mccallcabins.com. Their love for the outdoors, and the desire to start their family in a small town were the primary driving factors. Both of their children were born and raised right here, and they could not be happier. In addition to being a property manager, Joel has also volunteered for numerous local non-profit organizations, served as the McCall Area Chamber of Commerce President for four years, and is currently the vice-president of the Payette Lakes Ski Club. After a lot of urging from his realtor friends, he finally got his license in 2019, and has been actively working for clients as both a property manager and realtor ever since. His knowledge of the area, construction standards, location experience, and having been inside and managed over 1000 homes in the area gives him a great platform when it comes to buying and selling homes. He graduated from the University of Oregon in 1996 with a degree in Economics, and prior to moving to McCall he was an economic forecaster and manager for a fortune 500 company. His knowledge and experience in evaluating market trends along with my understanding of changing economic conditions has proven to be a great asset when it comes to choosing the right home to buy, or deciding when it is the right time to sell.
