About Joel

I grew up in the Greater New Orleans area, where I was first born in Kenner and later moved to New Orleans. From a young age, my parents taught me many things about business, but most importantly, they taught me to treat clients like they are your family. As a realtor, I practice those solid family business values in my career, and am the lead buyer's agent for the Picolo-Ramos Team with my sister/business partner, Brittany Picolo-Ramos. Just like God and my family are incredibly important to me, so are my clients. I understands that buying a house may come with some challenges, but I love helping each family through that journey.

I like to spend my spare time reading, networking, exercising, and participating in community service.

I was also a star of the show “Selling the Big Easy” which made its debut on HGTV in 2020. The show follows Brittany and her team as they help clients find the home of their dreams by showing them high-end properties with the right amount of history and charm.
