About Joey

Joey Wray, a 43 year native to the Greater Richmond Virginia area, grew up on the waters of the Lake Caroline Community, in Caroline County and has been a resident in Powhatan for 17 years. He obtained a Bachelor’s degree from ECPI in I.T. Networking in 2001.

Joey found his passion for Real Estate after he and his wife purchased their first home in 2004 (a small 2 bedroom 1 bathroom fixer upper) that they were able to refurbish and sell for a handsome profit. He has been hooked since, and is excited, committed and focused on helping you through the rigorous process of buying or selling your home.

Prior to his Real Estate career, Joey’s professional background was in the automotive service industry as a profitability consultant to dealerships and auto service centers around the Greater Richmond Area. From that 10 year profession he gained unsurpassed transaction management, client care and negotiating skills. He has put this skill set to work in the field of Real Estate to provide a 5 star transaction experience that his clients rave about!

He is also very aware of the need to have his client’s best interests in mind regardless of the financial benefit, so that you can be assured Joey is committed not only ethically but also fiducially.

In his spare time he is first and foremost a family man, his faith and family are at the top of his priority list. He’s an avid outdoors-man, who enjoys Kayaking, fishing, hunting and camping with friends and family.
